ABOUT ME

I remember my grandmother sitting every evening, after very busy days, on her armchair under the lamp, knitting with crochet hook dresses for every female member of our family.

 

On weddings and Holidays, we all showed up wearing her dresses, each of us in the color of her choice. Little did I know that one day I, too, would also knit.

I studied Art and Painting after I graduated high school with great artists and wonderful teachers, like Rafi Lavi and Yair Garbuz.

 

After working for many years in different fields of Art and Design, such as being a fashion designer for my own company, weaving wall carpets, and creating leather bags for a fashion house, I went back to study at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and earned a B.A. in Art History, and continued my studies in Jewish Thought for my M.A..

 

Those were great years… which eventually found me knitting!
